LETTER: Ray Gibbon Drive, yay!

"Well at least RGB can catch up to 2012 or 2014 for the glut it takes on daily."

If you live in St. Albert, Ray Gibbon Drive long has been a point of contention and especially during the busy commute times.

It’s been the fault of city council (for the last few terms) and their shallow and short-sighted views of our city’s infrastructure needs.

Well at least RGD can catch up to 2012 or 2014 for the glut it takes on daily – now we have new neighbourhoods, but I guess St. Albert city council can look at that when that issue becomes eight to 10 years overgrown.

For now, let’s be thankful and hope that Standard General Construction doesn’t create large dips in the pavement at every catch drain grate along the roadway because of their poor compaction ... as for which the last RGD construction contractor was responsible.

Fingers crossed.

Darcy Englert, St. Albert
