LETTER: I wear a mask because I care

"I live as safely as I can, but out of respect for you, I will wear a mask. Do not judge me harshly for trying to protect other people."
letter-sta

In reference to the letter from Mary Harland ("Not everyone should be wearing a mask," July 8 Gazette), I wear a mask because I care about you and everyone around. I do not know whether I am asymptomatic or not – you can be contagious without knowing. I live as safely as I can, but out of respect for you, I will wear a mask. Do not judge me harshly for trying to protect other people.

Rita Koch,

St. Albert
