Ken is lovingly survived by his wife, Rita; children, Noelle, Rick, and David (Julie); grandchildren: Madeline, Kristen (Jared), Zachary (Brooke), Jenna (Kristian), Alex, Jessica, Fraser, Kate, and Grace; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Grey; and siblings: Dian, Marlene, Gerry (Betty-Lou), Terry (Joyce), and Wilf (Dianne).
He was pre-deceaed by his parents, Martha and Ewald; sister, Marge; and son-in-law Todd.
Holding a fulfilling career as a firefighter with the City of Edmonton, Ken retired from his position as a Captain after 30 years.
