On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Melvin passed away peacefully with family by his side. Sadly, on July 3, 2025, Dolores joined her husband after some brief health complications.
Mel and Del are survived by their 5 children, Sharon (Rick), Doug (Dianne), Greg (Heather), Darcy and Pam (John); 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; Mel’s brother, Jack (Tec); and Del’s sister, Betty.
Mel was predeceased by his parents, Axel and Gelina; sisters, Frances, Irene, Margaret; and brother, Elmer.
Del was predeceased by her parents, George and Adeline; brother, Leonard; and sisters, Josie, Helen and Cledyth (Toots).
The family would like to extend their thanks to the Sturgeon Hospital for the care and compassion shown to the family.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, AB T8N 1G1.
