Riley Bezeau leads Saint John Sea Dogs to 5-4 win over Quebec Remparts

QUEBEC — Riley Bezeau scored twice for the Saint John Sea Dogs in a 5-4 win over the host Quebec Remparts in Thursday's lone QMJHL game.

The 19-year-old right-winger scored the eventual game-winner into an empty net at 17:38 of the third period. 

Bezeau's first goal of the game gave Saint John a 2-1 lead in the second period.

Olivier Picard, William Dufour and Charles Savoie also scored for Saint John (6-5-0-2).

Sea Dogs starter Jonathan Lemieux made 30 saves for the win.

Zachary Bolduc scored twice for Quebec (9-4-0-0). Fabio Iacobo turned away 17 of 21 shots in the loss.

Bolduc pulled the Remparts within a goal after Bezeau's empty-netter, but Quebec couldn't produce an equalizer.
