TORONTO — Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (20,631.58, up 128.37):

Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY). Financials. Up two cents, or 0.02 per cent, to $134.73 on 12.5 million shares.

Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financials. Up seven cents, or 0.28 per cent, to $25.57 on 11.6 million shares.

TC Energy Corp. (TSX:TRP). Energy. Up 16 cents, or 0.28 per cent, to $58.18 on 9.8 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Energy. Up 86 cents, or 1.95 per cent, to $45.05 on 8.8 million shares.

Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB). Energy. Down one cent, or 0.02 per cent, to $56.01 on 8.7 million shares.

Toronto-Dominion Bank (TSX:TD). Financials. Up 47 cents, or 0.53 per cent, to $89.65 on 7.8 million shares.

Companies in the news:

Exco Technologies Ltd. (TSX:XTC). Up six cents, or 0.85 per cent, to $7.15. Exco Technologies Ltd. said three of its factories have been hit by what it is calling a cybersecurity incident. The company said it has taken steps to secure its systems and mitigate the impact to the company's data and operations and that it is in the process of bringing the systems it temporarily disabled back online. It expects operations to be substantially restored over the next two weeks The company said shipments to customers have not been and are not expected to be materially interrupted.

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Inc. (TSX:RBA). Up $1.79, or 2.23 per cent, to $82.17. Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Inc. is changing the terms of its proposal to buy IAA Inc. to increase the proportion of cash offered but trim the overall value of the bid. The Vancouver-based company also said it plans to pay a special one-time dividend of US$1.08 per share to its own shareholders, contingent on the deal closing. Ritchie Bros. is now offering US$12.80 per share in cash and 0.5252 of a Ritchie Bros. share for each IAA share, making the offer worth about US$44.40 per share based on the company's share price Friday. In its original proposal, the company had offered US$10 in cash and 0.5804 of a Ritchie Bros. share for each IAA share, making the offer worth US$44.92 per share.
