The midget 15 Flyers (11-3-4) and Leduc (7-7-3) are second and sixth, respectively, in the north division.
The Flyers are undefeated in seven games while going 5-0-2 and the team’s home record is 5-1-1.
Midget AA teams
The Blues and the Source for Sports Crusaders are in action today in the Northern Alberta Midget AA Hockey League.
The Blues (8-2-2) face-off against the Wainwright Polar Kings (7-3-5) at 2:30 p.m. at Mark Messier Arena and the Crusaders (9-3-2) play the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers (1-10-2) at 5 p.m. at Dow Centennial Centre.
The Crusaders also skate Tuesday against SSAC Lakewood Chevrolet (8-3-3) at 8:30 p.m. at Go Auto Arena.
The Crusaders are winners of three in a row and the Blues are 6-1-1 in eight games.
In the Metro conference, the Crusaders are second in the Besa division and the Blues are third in the Anderson division.
Keigan Miller leads the Blues in scoring with 10 goals and 14 points and Ryan Deets is the top Crusader with 13 goals and 22 points.
Junior B games
The St. Albert Merchants continue their three-game homestand Sunday in the Capital Junior B Hockey League.
Puck drop is 8 p.m. against the Edmonton Mustangs (7-13-3).
The Merchants (14-9) were 5-5 at Akinsdale Arena before hosting the Edmonton Royals (11-11-1) Friday but the score was unavailable at press time.
The Morinville Jets (14-7-1) are the visitors Friday and game time is 8 p.m.
REM 15 Royals
The St. Albert Royals and Canadian Athletic Club hook up Sunday in the Rural & Edmonton Midget 15AA Hockey League.
Faceoff is 8:15 p.m. at Go Auto Arena.
The first-place Royals (11-2) have won five consecutive games and the CAC (7-6) is fifth overall in the 10-team standings
Joshua Cyr and Adam Olsen share the team lead in points with 14 and Cyr is the top scorer with seven goals.
Sharks attack
The St. Albert Sharks are 10-0 when the midget elite team entertains the Edmonton Pandas in the Alberta Female Hockey League.
Monday’s start time is 8:45 p.m. at Troy Murray Arena.
The second win of the season for the Sharks was 3-0 against the Pandas (3-8-1) Oct. 20 in St. Albert.
