The St. Albert Centre Ladies’ Bonspiel will deliver the goods in Thursday’s opening draw at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Albert Curling Club.
Eighteen rinks are competing for cash prizes. Also up for grabs is a free draw for a St. Albert Centre basket valued at $500.
The finals go Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
The bonspiel theme is The Shopping Bags.
The St. Albert Minor Baseball Association has selected the following head coaches for the 2012 rep season: Mark Brisson (mosquito AAA), Darren Pratt (peewee AAA), Dave Maguire (bantam AAA), Greg Powlik (midget AA) and CJ Jayasekera (midget AAA) are the Cardinals’ dugout bosses.
