Seven players combined to score 19 goals as the St. Albert Miners buried the Beaumont Outlaws in Wednesday’s lopsided win in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.

The Presidents’ Cup senior B national champions also extended their winning streak to 39 games over two seasons in the 19-6 blowout at Go Auto Arena.

Richard Lachlin and Sean Reid connected four times in the team’s 12th victory in a row this year.

Beaumont is 3-11 after its third consecutive defeat.

Derek Burak, Graedon Cornfield and captain Jordan Cornfield netted three goals apiece and Keegan Bal and Ben Snider notched singles.

Bal also collected seven assists and Lachlin and Graedon each had six helpers.

Period scores were 7-2 and 14-4.

Today the Miners have a date with the Mountaineers (6-4), last year’s RMLL provincial finalists, at 6:30 p.m. at Stu Peppard Arena.

Sunday’s game against the Rockyview Knights (8-4) in Airdrie starts at 4 p.m.

The St. Albert Crude settled for a tie after letting Thursday’s win slip away in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.

The Fort Saskatchewan Rebels rallied from a 9-5 deficit with four unanswered markers and the equalizer was scored shorthanded with 17 seconds remaining in the junior B Tier I contest at Akinsdale Arena.

The Rebels (3-11-1) started the comeback with 11 seconds left in the middle frame while killing off a penalty.

Shots were 19-6 in the third and 54-49 overall for the Rebels, including a 5-2 edge in the overtime period.

The Crude were led by Tyler Dion’s hat-trick and a pair by Greyson Seibel

Ben Holowaty tallied once and added three assists, Keegan Doll and Liam Potgieter also scored and Carter McCorriston chipped in with three helpers.

The Crude are winless in five games after the 9-9 draw when they play the south-division Rockyview Silvertips (2-10) Sunday at 3 p.m. at Spray Lakes Centre.

Several swimmers from St. Albert and Sturgeon County contributed to the Olympian Swim Club winning the team title at the long course north provincial championships last weekend in Grande Prairie.

Kayla St. Pierre was also the recipient of the 50-metre aggregate award, which is presented to the swimmer who races in the 50m events (free, back, breast and fly) and collects the most collective points for those races based on finishes.

The U10 swimmer was first in the 200 IM and 50 free, placed second in the 100 free, 100 breast, 200 breast, 50 fly, 100 fly and 200 free relay and was third in the 200 medley relay.

Tehya Dickson, U10 girls: second - 200 free relay; third - 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 medley relay.

Brooke Anderson, U11 girls: first - 100 breast; second - 200 free relay, 200 medley relay; third - 50 fly, 100 fly, 200 breast.

Tavin Jacobs, U11 girls: first - 200 breast; second - 200 free, 400 free, 200 medley relay; third - 100 free, 200 IM, 50 free.
