After several successful seasons, the Morinville Ladies have encountered some baby trouble. Two members of the team have newborns and four more are expecting in October. The team was founded 13 years ago and they play in the St. Albert Women’s Soccer League in the summer and the EDSA in the winter. Since their founding, they have been very successful. They have never finished lower than third place in the standings and they won a bronze medal at outdoor provincials and had a fourth place finish at indoor provincials. This year they were promoted to Division 2 for the next indoor season. Because of the baby news, the team is looking for new players for the upcoming indoor season. They are looking for experienced, committed players who are available for games Tuesday nights in Edmonton. They practice on Sundays in the Morinville Community High School gym. Any interested players can call Jon at 780-939-4825 or 780-245-4825.
