The top two division 2A men’s teams in the Edmonton District Soccer Association go head-to-head Tuesday.

Kickoff is 7 p.m. between the first-place St. Albert Impact (5-0-1) and second-place Leduc United/British Rovers FC (4-1) at John Boyle Athletic Park in Leduc.

The second win in a row for the Impact was 3-0 against Strikers HPP (3-3) this week at Riel Park.

Sam Smith-Ackerl, Jadran Mujcinovic and Cam Roth scored in the first half.

Smith-Ackerl was also red-carded before the break.

His fourth goal of the season is one behind Scott Robson’s team high total.

Posting the shutout was goalkeeper Kurt Steendam.

Two matches in three nights for the St. Albert Impact 2 women’s team starts tonight at the ESA Complex.

Kickoff is 8 p.m. against the Edmonton Warriors (1-4-1).

Monday’s contest against the Wind starts at 8:15 p.m.

Impact 2 (0-3-3) is listed seventh in the eight-team division 1A table in the Edmonton District Soccer Association after the 2-1 loss to Rionero FC (5-1) this week at Riel Park.

Kelsey Carter was the goal scorer.

The St. Albert Impact Premier women are undefeated in three matches entering Sunday’s match in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.

Kickoff is 2 p.m. against Victoria (2-3-1) at the ESA Complex.

The Impact (4-2-1) are coming off two victories in three days in the premier division and they were identical 6-1 scores against Hearts United at Rollie Miles Athletic Park and Dreadnought at Riel Park.

Casey Paplawski struck twice and Kristin Schindal, Kelly Tataryn, Danica Blasius and Jazmyn Mauthe notched singles against Hearts United (1-6).

Brittany Kindzierski potted a pair and Blasius, Vanessa Bulmer, Mila Van der Veen and Lindsey Berthelsen also tallied against Dreadnought (1-7).

In division scoring, Kindzierski is third with six goals and Mauthe and Paplawski have five apiece.

Last year Kindzierski finished tied for second in goals with 11 while playing for Victoria. Paplawski also had seven for Victoria.

Tuesday the Impact and Angels Scottish SC 3 (2-4) cross paths at 8:15 p.m. Riel Park.

The next match for the St. Albert Impact 1 team in the premier women’s division is Tuesday at the ESA Complex.

Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. against Angels Scottish SC 2 (3-3-1).

The Impact (2-5-1) are coming off a 3-2 loss to Angels Scottish SC 3 (2-4) and 1-1 draw with Victoria (2-3-1).

Amanda Thompson and Jenna Keebaum scored against the Scottish at Riel Park and Jade Deputan found the back of the net at the Victoria Soccer Club.

The St. Albert Rangers and Man City hook up Monday in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.

The division 1A match kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at the ESA Complex.

The team settled for 2-2 tie last month.

Man City (5-0-2) shares first place and the Rangers (2-1-4) are fourth in the division table.

Noah Boyko of the Rangers is second in the division scoring race with six goals.
