The St. Albert Impact kicks into action today in the men’s division 2A fixtures in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.
The game starts at noon against FC Fizi (1-2) at Queen Elizabeth High School.
The Impact are 2-0 this season and their last win was 4-2 over Riverpool FC (1-2) at Riel Park.
Riverpool scored twice before the Impact found the back of the net before halftime.
Scott Robson tallied twice and Sam Smith-Ackerl and Ernesto Sillito notched singles.
Robson leads the team in goals with four and Smith-Ackerl has three.
Tuesday the Impact plays Steaua/Redhill FC (1-2-1) at 8:15 p.m. at Riel Park.
Monday the St. Albert Rangers and Africana FC hook up in men’s division 1A action.
Kickoff is 8:15 p.m. at the ESA Complex.
Africana (2-2-1) and the Rangers (1-1-2) are third and fourth, respectively, in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.
The Rangers are coming off their first win of the season, 3-2 over the Croatia Rijeka/Scona Blues (1-3).
The St. Albert Impact division 1A women have two matches scheduled in three days, starting tonight at the ESA Complex.
Kickoff is 8 p.m. against the ASC Cyclones (0-2).
Monday’s contest against the Spruce Grove Saints (3-0-1) starts at 6:30 p.m. at Riel Park.
The Impact have one tie and two losses in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.
Two of St. Albert’s three Impact premier division women’s teams cross paths Tuesday at Riel Park.
Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. between Impact/Inter SC (3-2) and Impact 1 (2-3).
Impact 1 is coming off a 6-0 loss to the other St. Albert team, Impact Premier.
Goal scorers for Impact Premier were Lisa Martin, Jazz Mauthe, Danica Blasius, Mila Van der Veen and newcomer Casey Paplawski with a pair.
The next match for Impact Premier (2-2) is 8:15 p.m. Tuesday against Angels Scottish SC 2 (1-3) at Riel Park.
On tap Sunday for Impact/Inter SC is Hearts United (0-3) at 6:30 p.m. at Foote Field.
The last win for Impact/Inter SC was 4-1 over the host Angels Scottish SC 3 (1-3).

The Paul Kane Blues and St. Albert Skyhawks suffered lopsided losses in the metro Edmonton division two women’s soccer playoffs.
The Blues (1-4) were bounced 7-0 by the Austin O’Brien Crusaders (4-0) and the Skyhawks (1-3-1) fell 8-1 to the Holy Trinity Trojans (3-1) this week in the quarter-finals.
The Skyhawks and Blues were ranked third and fourth, respectively, in pool A before the playoffs.
