July 14 will be a busy day at the St. Albert Rugby Club with three matches throughout the day.The first match of the day begins at noon between the E2 SARFC club and the Clansmen. The fifth-place home squad has lost all six of their games so far this year and will be hoping to pick up their first win against the third-place Clansmen. The visiting squad has won two and lost two this season. The two teams have yet to face off against each other.
The second match-up is between the sixth-place women’s squad and the eighth-place Clansmen. So far this season, the St. Albert team has won three of its five games while the Clan have won two of six. The game starts at 2 p.m. at the St. Albert Rugby Football Club.
The third match of the day kicks off at 4 p.m. between the men’s premier squad and the Clan. The men’s team is sitting in fourth place in the standings with three wins and one loss for the season. The Clansmen RFC squad is sitting in seventh place with two wins and three losses since the season began on June 23.
Senior tennis tournament
The St. Albert Tennis Club is running its Seniors’ Provincial Tournament this weekend at the Mission courts.
The tournament started on Thursday and runs until July 15 and will include 60 events with 47 players.

Impact soccer
Two St. Albert women’s Impact soccer squads will face off against each other on Tuesday night.The St. Albert Impact 2 sits in fifth place in the league with five wins, five losses and three ties for the season.
The Impact 1 sit in third place with 11 wins and two losses during the year. The Impact 1 are hoping to advance to the major league next season and to pull that off they need to win the league. Right now in third place they have 33 points in the league, falling behind North West United 2 who have 37 points and Victoria 2 who have 34 points.
The Impact 1 have five games left this season to advance to first place.
The two St. Albert squads have faced off already this season with the Impact 1 winning 1-0.
The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Riel Park.
