The inaugural Gareth Jones St. Albert High School Rugby Tournament will grace the pitch today (Saturday) at the St. Albert Rugby Football Club.
The Bellerose Bulldogs, Paul Kane Blues and St. Albert High Skyhawks are competing in the women’s and men’s divisions. Matches consist of 17-minute halfs.
Kickoff times are as follows.
• 10 a.m. women: Blues vs. Skyhawks
• 11 a.m. men: Blues vs. Skyhawks
• 12 p.m. women: Skyhawks vs. Bulldogs
• 1 p.m. men: Skyhawks vs. Bulldogs
• 2 p.m. women: Bulldogs vs. Blues
• 3 p.m. men: Bulldogs vs. Blues
Trophy presentations are at 4 p.m.
The tournament is named in honour of one of the founding members and the first president of the St. Albert rugby club.
