The Rams are 10-3 (124 GF/78 GA) after Monday’s 15-3 shellacking of the host Sherwood Park Titans and the Posse are 9-5 (124 GF/92 GA) but 3-2 in the last five games. Head to head, the Rams won two and lost one.

Division two rugby
The St. Albert Rugby Football Club and Strathcona Druids hook up in a lightweight battle of two winless division two men’s teams Friday.Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Lynn Davies Rugby Park.
The SARFC seconds are 0-4 (93 PF/169 PA) and the Druids are 0-3 (53 PF/135 PA).
The last match for the seconds was Saturday’s disheartening 34-29 loss to the Bow Valley Grizzlies (3-2, 146 PF/168 PA) in the interlocking Edmonton/Calgary fixtures.
Bow Valley, last year’s Lor-Ann Cup division two provincial champion, generated two converted tries late in the contest after trailing 29-20.
The second try was a lengthy romp from Bow Valley’s side of the halfway line as the runaway Grizzly was pursued by a trio of players. The conversion capped off the comeback as the ref blew the whistle two minutes into injury time.
A few minutes earlier, the seconds were deep in Bow Valley’s end 10 minutes after Bow Valley closed the gap to 29-27 but a drop-goal attempt by Andrew (Kiwi) Marsden in front of the posts was low and wobbly.
The seconds deserved a better fate especially after Josh Freeman, a young up-and-comer as a promising eight-man, did the majority of the work on the opening score by Marsden after the kick-off in the first minute of play.
British import George Harding also showed some moxie in the backs.
