Turkey Ring
The 21st annual Turkey Ring tournament is underway for 70 teams in 14 divisions.
The host St. Albert Ringette Association is represented by 19 teams during the four-day competition featuring 119 games at the Jarome Iginla, Kinex, Mark Messier, Troy Murray, Go Auto and Riviere Que Barre arenas.

Tonight’s feature game at the Turkey Ring between the U19AA St. Albert Mission and Edmonton Elite is 6:30 p.m. at Mark Messier Arena.
Bantam AA games
The Edmonton Rural Bantam AA Hockey League season continues for the St. Albert teams in the blue division of the metro conference.
Sunday the Saints (3-1-1) play the MLAC Alumni (1-2) at 8:15 p.m. at Millwoods Arena and Wednesday’s game against the Sturgeon Sting (1-0-1) starts at 7:45 p.m. at Jarome Iginla Arena.
The Blues (2-0-1) are in action Sunday against the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers (1-0-1) at 5:15 p.m. at JRC Arena and Wednesday against the Bears (1-2) at 8:15 p.m. at Go Auto Arena.
Midget AA games
The St. Albert Source for Sports Crusaders skate Tuesday in the Northern Alberta Midget AA Hockey League.
Puck drop is 8 p.m. against the KC Colts (0-3) at Castledowns Arena.
The Crusaders (3-0-1), winners of back-to-back NAMHL championships, are slotted in the Besa division of the metro conference along with the St. Albert Steel (2-0).
Friday’s score between the Steel and Leduc Roughnecks (1-1) in St. Albert was unavailable at press time.
The Steel doesn’t play again until Oct. 25 against the Lakeland Panthers (0-3) at Bonnyville.
