The next Norwest Midget AAA Baseball League game for the St. Albert Cardinals is tonight at John Fry Park.

First pitch is 6:30 p.m. against SEEBA (6-2), last year's Baseball Alberta Tier I champion.

This weekend the first-place Cardinals (12-0) host a three-game series against the Prairie Lights (10-4) at Legion Memorial Park.

Start times are 3 and 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.

The Cardinals were 16-4 overall before Tuesday's exhibition against the Sherwood Park A's but the score was unavailable at press time.

The sixth annual Dawg Bowl kicks off at 5 p.m. Thursday at Riel Recreation Park.

The Bellerose Bulldogs' intersquad game features junior and senior players from the high school football program's spring camp.

Last year Team Hill (White) defeated Team Guy (Cardinal) 16-8. The game was called after the first half due to lightning.

The inaugural Crude Lacrosse Club of St. Albert alumni game starts 8 p.m. Friday at Akinsdale Arena.

As of Sunday, 32 former players were confirmed for the Crude reunion.

This year's junior B Tier I team was 3-4 in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League as the fourth-place team in the north division before hosting the Sherwood Park Titans (6-2) Tuesday. The score was unavailable at press time.

The Crude equalled their 2016 win total in last week's 11-6 decision against the Fort Saskatchewan Rebels (2-7) in St. Albert.

Tyler Dion tallied three times and added two assists in the Crude's second victory in a row.

Keegan Doll potted a pair and Farrell Pope, Brock McIntyre, Carter McCorriston, Jorden McCuaig, Michael Nohr and Ben Holowaty notched singles.

Holowaty, the team's top scorer with 10 goals and 22 points in six games, also picked up three assists.

Saturday the Crude travels to Okotoks to play the Marauders (4-3-1) at 4:30 p.m.

The St. Albert Merchants host their the second annual Merch Madness Cup golf tournament June 9 at the Sturgeon Valley Golf & Country Club.

The entry fee is $150 per person or $600 per team.

The four-person scramble format starts at 8 a.m. and dinner is 1:30 p.m.
