The first game of the women's division one playoffs will take place on Thursday, as the Bellerose Bulldogs (3-2) will play the Ross Sheppard Thunderbirds (1-4) on Thursday at 4:45 p.m. at the St. Albert Rugby Club. This will be the first match between the two clubs this year, with the victor playing Bev Facey (5-0), who earned a bye into the semi finals.
In men's division two action, the first seeded Sturgeon (4-0, 192 PF/72 PA) takes on the Jasper Place Rebels (1-3) Wednesday at 4:45 at St. Albert Rugby Club. This will be their first time meeting this season. Last year Sturgeon went all the way to the final game, coming up short in a close 7-5 loss against Edmonton Christian. The winner will go on to play the winner of Edmonton Christian (4-0 110 PF/44 PA) and Paul Kane (2-2, 96 PF/ 104 PA). That game gets underway on Thursday at 4:45 and the Clansmen Rugby Club.
