The Cardinals were 7-0 (72 RF/11 RA) as the Norwest co-leaders before Tuesday's game against the South Jasper Place Jays (0-6). The score was unavailable at press time.

The Cardinals' overall record was 11-2 after winning four out of six games at the Perfect Game Mother's Day Classic in Okotoks. Scores were 9-8 against Dawgs 18U Red, 4-2 against the North Delta Blue Jays, 6-5 against the Abbotsford Cardinals, 11-4 loss to Team Saskatchewan, 6-1 win against SEEBA and 13-0 loss to Okotoks Black.

Last year's Tier I provincial champions and fourth-place finishers at U15 nationals are winners of five in a row after losing the league opener.

The Bellerose Bulldogs close out the regular season in metro Edmonton high school rugby today in the men's and women's divisions.

The Bellerose men visit the Salisbury Sabres at Lynn Davies Rugby Park and the lady Bulldogs scrum down against the Jasper Place Rebels at the St. Albert Rugby Football Club. Kickoff times are 4:45 p.m.

Bellerose (2-1) and Salisbury (0-3) compete in the men's division two pool A table and the lady Bulldogs (2-2) and Rebels (0-3) are division one teams.

The playoffs start May 25 in both divisions.

Teams ranked first and second in the women's table receive a first-round bye for May 29 semifinal berths. The final is June 1 at Ellerslie Rugby Park.

The top four men's teams in the A and B pools qualify for the quarter-finals. The semifinals are May 29 and the final is June 1 at Ellerslie.

Thursday's high school women's soccer match between the St. Albert Skyhawks and Bellerose Bulldogs kicks off at 4:15 p.m. at Forest Park Field.

The metro Edmonton division two pool A teams had matches scheduled earlier this week. Monday the Skyhawks played the Strathcona Christian Academy Eagles in Sherwood Park and Tuesday the Bulldogs visited the M.E. Lazerte Voyageurs. Scores were unavailable at press time.

Last week the Skyhawks, last year's division two finalists and 2015 champions, blanked the Paul Kane Blues 2-0.
