JUGGLING ACT – Travis Heggart momentarily bobbles the ball before catching it and running into the endzone against the Edmonton Chargers in the midget spring league. Heggart caught four touchdown passes for eight receptions overall for 104 yards in the 49-45 loss last weekend. Tonight at 8 p.m. the Storm huddles up against the West Edmonton Raiders at Clarke Park in the last game before the playoffs. Both teams are 2-3 and last month the Raiders beat the Storm 30-20.

The St. Albert Storm and West Edmonton Raiders go toe-to-toe in tonight's midget spring league game at Clarke Park.

Kickoff is 8 p.m. between the 2-3 teams in the Capital District Minor Football Association.

Last month the Raiders defeated the Storm 30-20.

The Storm are looking for a bounce-back effort after gassing a 35-20 halftime lead in the 49-45 loss to the Edmonton Chargers (5-1) last weekend.

The Chargers scored 16 unanswered points in the fourth quarter on touchdown runs of 86 and two yards and a two-point safety.

Playoffs start next week in the midget division for players in Grades 9, 10 and 11.

The season-opening five-game homestand for the St. Albert Miners continues Sunday at Go Auto Arena.

Start time is 3:30 p.m. against the Calgary Raiders in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.

The Bellerose Bulldogs and Strathcona Lords hook up in metro Edmonton division one women's rugby Monday at 4:45 p.m. at Airway Park.

Bellerose is 2-1 after its second win in a row, 30-12 over the Ross Sheppard Thunderbirds. Shep and Strathcona are both 0-2.

Tuesday the Paul Kane Blues and Sturgeon Spirits scrum down in division two women's action at the St. Albert Rugby Football Club.

Paul Kane (2-0) plays the Beaumont Bandits (0-2) and Sturgeon (1-0) battles the W.P. Wagner Warriors (2-0). Kickoff times are 4:45 p.m.

The revised Edmonton District Soccer Association fixtures in the premier women's division kicks off Tuesday for the St. Albert Impact 1 team.

Game time is 7 p.m. against Northwest United at the ESA Complex turf field No. 11.

The Impact/Inter SC team is in Sherwood on Tuesday to play Dreadnought at 7 p.m.

The first match for the Impact premier squad is May 16 against Impact/Inter SC at 7 p.m. at the ESA Complex turf field No. 12.
