The North Central Alberta Baseball League unveils its Hall of Fame during Thursday's ceremony at the Musée Morinville Museum.
The grand opening of the first sport specific Hall of Fame by an amateur league in the province goes from 5 to 7 p.m. It also coincides with NCABL's 50th anniversary and marks the first of six major events planned during the 2017 baseball season for the high-performance AA circuit.

The women's draw for Lauren Jenkyns, third Kathy Piper, second Laurie Conrad and lead Christina Monk starts 9 a.m. Saturday against the Shamrock or Jasper Place.
The double knockout format determines the four qualifiers for Tuesday's men's, mixed and women's semifinals at 6 p.m.
The finals are 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Briske is making his third appearance at cities and the second in three years, Sadoway is back for the first time since 2006 and Jenkyns was the 2014 champion, 2015 finalist and 2016 semifinalist.
The puck drops 3 p.m. Saturday for the fifth annual Donnie MAC Cup at the Akinsdale and Kinex arenas.
Players and corporate support raised more than $50,000 for Lung Cancer Canada in the first four years of this two-hour event.
This year's focus is the St. Albert Food Bank and donations of money and non-perishable food items will be accepted from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Akinsdale rink entrance.
The fundraiser is held in memory Don MacMillan, a St. Albert resident who died of lung cancer in 2011 at age 61, as well as others affected by the disease.
The tournament consists of four teams, comprised mostly of St. Albert minor hockey alumni, and they play each other one period at a time.
The four teams are named after parents of players who have passed away: Susan Herrick and Denise Thompson, Bob Drummond, Barrie Lydiatt and George Nicol.
The corporate jerseys are MAC Insurance blue, Jay Herrick RE/MAX red, MAC Registries orange and MACSON Developments white.
