The Men’s Div. 1A St. Albert Rangers (5-2-4) face off against Africana FC (6-2-3) on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Edmonton Soccer Association. The Rangers are coming off a huge 5-0 win against the Croatia Rijeka/Scona Blues (4-6-1) last week.
The Men’s Div. 2A St. Albert Impact (7-2-1) play tonight against FC Fizi (7-2-1) at 5 p.m. at Riel Park. The winner will take sole position of first place with three games remaining in the season for each of them. FC Fizi is currently on a six-game win streak, with their last loss coming on May 30. The two teams met in June, scoring a draw with one goal apiece.
All three Women’s Premier League teams are in action this week, starting with the St. Albert Impact/Premier SC (6-4-2) facing off against Hearts United (2-9-1) at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Edmonton Soccer Association. Impact/Premier SC is coming off a 3-0 loss against the Impact Premier on Tuesday.
The St. Albert Impact 1 (2-9-1) take on the Angels Scottish SC 2 (7-5-1) tomorrow as well, meeting at 5 p.m. at the Edmonton Scottish Society. They play again on Tuesday against the last-place Dreadnought 6 Nunez (1-12-0), meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Riel Park.
The third-place Impact Premier (10-2-1) face off against the Green & Gold (10-1-2) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Edmonton Soccer Association. Second place is on the line in the standings with just a single point separating the two teams.
The first-place, undefeated Miners (18-0) have a series against the Mounties (11-7) this weekend, playing on Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at noon, with both games being played at the Go Auto Arena at Servus Union Place.
The Div. 3 leading St. Albert (6-1) faces off against last Place Penguin Reapers (0-6) today at the Cold Lake Energy Centre at 2 p.m. A win would mark five in a row for St. Albert.
A pair of undefeated teams are set to match up on Monday as the U18 SARFC Girls (3-0) take on the NWAA Girls (3-0). Neither team has allowed a point against in their three matchups this season.
The St. Albert (3-3) and Penguins/Reapers (2-5-1) game scheduled for today has been cancelled, according to the Edmonton Rugby website.
