The President’s Cup and Manager’s Cup champions in the men’s, mixed and women’s divisions will be crowned tonight at the St. Albert Curling Club.
The last round in the Manager’s Cup playoffs start at 6:30 p.m. and the President’s Cup men’s and mixed finals and the women’s round-robin playoffs follow at 8:45 p.m.
The President’s Cup winners advance to the Edmonton and area Tournament of Champions, April 7 to 12 at Ellerslie.
The men’s and women’s champions also qualify for the Northern Travelers Club Championships.
Meanwhile, the St. Albert senior 50-plus windup bonspiel wraps up today with 24 rinks consisting of 96 curlers from St. Albert, Morinville and Spruce Grove.
The second annual Marc Kennedy Junior Classic rocks the house Friday morning at the St. Albert and Jasper Place curling clubs.
The U18 bonspiel, presented by Sarasota Homes & Realty, features 56 rinks from across the province in the competitive (28), intermediate (20) and recreational (eight) divisions.
The St. Albert Curling Club is represented by 39 participants from the Little Rock and junior programs and every draw but one has at least one of the 10 St. Albert rinks or a player from the club in it.
The finals are 2 p.m. Sunday.
The puck drops tonight for the St. Albert Flyers at the Alberta Minor Midget AAA Hockey League provincials in Clairmont.
The Flyers face-off against the Canadian Athletic Club at 7:15 p.m. to kick-off the six-team round robin.
Thursday the Flyers play the CBHA Rangers at 11 a.m. and CNHA Canucks at 7:15 p.m.
Friday the Flyers skate at 9 a.m. against the host Grande Peace Storm and 4:30 p.m. against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
The top four teams advance into Saturday’s semifinals and Sunday the third-place game is 11 a.m. and the final is 1:45 p.m.

The provincial draw features qualifiers from the north and south divisions through the Sutter Cup playoff format.
The Flyers blanked the Canadians 4-0 in the north final to go 5-0 in the tournament and the Canucks edged Lethbridge 3-2 in the south final.
In league play, the Flyers (32-4-1, 200 GF/54 GA) finished first and the Canadians (15-16-6, 123 GF/129 GA) were seventh in the north division and Lethbridge (29-2-6, 201 GF/59 GA) was first, the Canucks (21-10-6, 155 GF/106 GA) placed third and the Rangers (20-13-4, 155 GF/106 GA) were fourth in the south standings.
