The Bellerose Bulldogs host the Paul Kane Blues in the division one men's lid-lifter at 5 p.m.
Last season the Bulldogs finished 0-8 in division two pool B and the Blues placed eighth out of 14 division one teams while going 6-8 overall.
Last weekend at the 17th annual Mike Dea Classic, the Bulldogs finished 11th overall in the 16-team draw at St. Francis Xavier High School. The team's 2-2 record included wins against the Lloydminster Barons and Sturgeon Heights Huskies of Winnipeg and losses to the Saint Francis Browns of Calgary and McNally Tigers.

Five wins and six points separate the third-place Slash (12-7-2) and the eighth-place Raiders (7-7-6) in the standings.
It's the first of five games before the inaugural Slash Alumni Event on Dec. 21 at Go Auto Arena and the Mac's tournament Dec. 26 in Calgary.
The last game for the Slash before the break in the schedule was their 2-1 win against the Raiders on Nov. 23 in DeWinton.
Saturday's all-star game in Calgary was cancelled because of poor driving conditions and will be rescheduled.
The Slash all-star reps on Team Teal are netminder Erynn Shantz, defenceman Megan Webb, forwards' Jenna Jewell, Megan Lalor and Rachel Rochat and head coach Phil Webb.

The Raiders (8-4-7) are undefeated in nine games – six wins and three ties – for second place in the north division after road wins of 4-3 against the Red Deer Chiefs (4-9-5) and 3-1 against the UFA Bisons (8-9-3).
Riley Smith, Ryan Peckford, Cam Mazur and Ryan Cox scored and captain Brendan Kallis added two assists in Red Deer.
The Raiders were outshot 44-21 and Josh Dechaine (7-2-5, 2.98 GAA) was between the pipes.
Jaedon Leslie, Parker AuCoin and Colin Schmidt potted goals against the Bisons in Strathmore.
Ethan Crotty (1-2-2, 4.35 GAA) stopped a game-high 31 shots for his first win of the season.
