Entries are being accepted for the annual St. Albert OK Tire Men’s Bonspiel.
The registration fee is $300 per rink for the Nov. 13 to 16 competition at the St. Albert Curling Club.
Each rink is guaranteed three games.

In last year’s final, a touring South Korean rink preparing for the 2013 Winter Universiade Games defeated Mike Hutchings, winner of the last four St. Albert men’s cash spiels, 9-8 in an extra end.
The Koreans pocketed $600 in their win over the Morinville-based rink and $1,300 overall while going 5-0 in the 30-team spiel.

Friday the Crusaders (3-2-1) play the Sturgeon Mustangs (1-5) at 8:45 p.m. and Saturday the Blues (1-3-2) entertain the Wetaskiwin Ice Kings (4-2-2) at 2:30 p.m.
Last season the Crusaders celebrated the first NAMHL championship by a St. Albert team in the league’s four-year history.
After six games, Mattias Neset’s four goals and 12 points and Tristen Gavin’s four goals and nine points lead the Crusaders offensively.
Jacob Waldbillig was the top scorer for the Blues with three goals and six points after five games.
The second home game of the season for the St. Albert Raiders in the Alberta Major Bantam Female Hockey League is Saturday against the Calgary Outlaws.
Faceoff is 7:45 p.m. at Go Auto Arena.
The Raiders (3-3) are third in the north division and the Outlaws (3-1-1) are the top team in the south.
Last weekend the Raiders suffered road losses of 4-3 to the Lloydminster IceCats (3-1) and 3-1 to the Red Deer Chiefs (3-2).
Brandy Steinman is the team’s leading scorer with four goals and eight points and Sophie Lalor has four goals and six points.
