The St. Albert Junior Cardinals meet the Westlock Red Lions for a doubleheader this Sunday in the North Central Alberta Baseball League. The first game will start at 1:30 p.m. at Legion Memorial Park.

The Cardinals have won three of their last six games and are starting to find some momentum after a rough start this year. They are 4-8 on the season.

The St. Albert S.S. Lazio Rangers face off against the Ajax SC at Goldstick Park this Saturday. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

On Monday the Rangers take on the Rising Stars at 7 p.m. at ESA Complex 6. The Rangers haven’t played the Rising Stars since the beginning of the season. That game was a scoring affair that ended in a 3-3 draw.

The St. Albert Senior Cardinals defend their home turf against the Fort Saskatchewan Athletics in a Monday night dust-up at Legion Memorial Park. The first pitch will be thrown at 6:45 p.m.

The Cardinals beat the Edmonton Expos 10-2 on Wednesday at Legion Field. Cardinals’ pitcher Joel Tauber allowed two runs over five innings and hit a three-run double late in the game to seal the game.

The St. Albert Tigers take to the field Monday night prepared to go head to head against the Confederation Park Cubs. The first pitch will be thrown 6:45 p.m. at John Fry Park.

The Tigers are down 1-2 on the Cubs this season and will be looking to tie the series up. Look for Tigers shortstop John McHugh and third baseman Ben Kennedy to set the tone early with big hits.

The Cardinals are 8-2 in their last ten games. They’ll be looking to improve that record this Wednesday when they meet the Edmonton Cardinals at Legion Memorial Park. First pitch will be thrown at 7 p.m. The third place Sherwood Park Dukes rallied in the seventh inning to beat the second place St. Albert Cardinals 6-4 on Canada Day at Legion Memorial Park.

The St. Albert Cardinals square off against the Lloydminster Twins in a Saturday double-header. The first game starts at 12 noon. in Hospital Diamond Park. The Red Birds took it to the Spruce Grove Sox Wednesday night and came away with the 9-1 victory.
