It’s another Super Saturday afternoon for St. Albert Rugby Football Club teams at Ellerslie Rugby Club.
At 2:15 p.m. in the Edmonton Rugby Union fixtures the SARFC women (4-1) line up against the Parkland Sharks (0-5) and the second division men (3-1) tackle the Fort McMurray Knights (3-0).
At 4 p.m. in the Alberta Cup the premier men (5-0) hook up with the Calgary Canucks (2-2).
The St. Albert Miners host the Edmonton Outlaws Saturday night in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
Ball drop is 8:30 p.m. at Northstar Hyundai Arena.
In the senior B standings the Miners are undefeated in 10 games and the Outlaws are 4-6.
In previous games against the Outlaws the Miners recorded wins of 9-6 last month in St. Albert and 17-14 last weekend at Bill Hunter Arena.
Wednesday the Miners visit the winless Spruce Grove Slash at 7:30 p.m. at Grant Fuhr Arena.
The St. Albert Soccer Association’s Tournament of Champions kicks off at 9 a.m. today for U10 and U12 community league teams.
The tournament consists of 14 girls’ teams and 16 boys’ teams in the U10 A, U10 B and U12 divisions.
Matches are scheduled for Attwood, Langholm, Pineview, Deer Ridge, Larose, Eldorado, Erin Ridge and Hodgson fields.

The St. Albert Stars travel to Calgary to play the Wolfpack Saturday night in the Alberta Football League.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Hellard Field.
The second-year Stars are 1-1 in league play and 2-1 overall after blanking the winless Stallions 55-0 last weekend at Riel Recreation Park. The Wolfpack are 1-1.
The season-ending tournament for the Fastball St. Albert U8 coach/pitch co-ed division wraps up this weekend.
The Blues Jays, Red Cherries, Baseball Stars and Vipers are playing ball at the Poplar Ridge, Muriel Martin and Fountain Park diamonds.
Sunday’s final is 11 a.m. at Fountain Park.
Tuesday the St. Albert Impact premier women’s team is in action against last-place AC Milan in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.
Kickoff is 8 p.m. at Foote Field.
The Impact are challenging for first place with eight wins, one tie and three losses after Tuesday’s 4-0 decision against Wolves FC.
Brittany Boe is the Impact’s top scorer with seven goals and Danica Blasius has netted six.
The next home game is July 8 versus the Lady Rangers at 7 p.m. at Riel Recreation Park.
