The division 2 men and SARFC women are playing in a double-header this Saturday, May 24 at St. Albert Rugby Football Club at Alpine Field (behind Elmer S. Gish Elementary).

Men play at 12:30 p.m. against the Pirates, and women at 2 p.m. against the Grande Prairie Sirens.

The St. Albert Junior Cardinals are hosting the first annual Rainmaker Rodeo Invitation Tournament that runs from Friday, May 23 through to Sunday, May 25.

The tournament is part of the tournament schedule in the North Central Alberta Baseball League, a senior AA circuit. Catch all the action at Legion Memorial Park. Complete with concession and beer gardens!

The Senior AA Cardinals kick the tournament off at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, against the Stony Plain Mets, and then again on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against the Edmonton Indians.

This Wednesday, the St. Albert Tigers can be seen playing the Fort Saskatchewan A’s at Legion Memorial Park, at 7:30 p.m.

Junior B Tier 1 lacrosse team, the St. Albert Crude, plays this weekend, facing off against the Edmonton Warriors on Saturday at 6 p.m., and against the Red Deer Rampage on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both games are at Akinsdale Arena.

The Crude were last year’s north division champions, and provincial finalists. The team goes into Saturday’s game with a 4-0-1 record.

The St. Albert Tennis Club has cancelled their doubles tournament on Saturday, May 24 at the Mission courts due to the Rainmaker parade.
