For the second week in a row the St. Albert Nordic Ski Club’s annual Loppet has been rescheduled because of cold weather.
The classic technique Loppet and sprint classic relays for six- to 13-year-olds will now be held March 16.
There is no cancellation or postponement refund for registrations. If a skier has registered it will be carried forward and entered.
Registrations are still open until March 14 at www.Zone4.ca. The fee is $5 for the Loppet and there is no cost for the relays.

The two-time reigning metro Edmonton champion St. Albert Skyhawks will defend their senior women’s crown next week in high school basketball.
Monday the second-place Skyhawks (11-1) host the seventh-place St. Francis Xavier Rams (7-5) at 5 p.m.
The division one semifinals are Wednesday and the final is 5 p.m. Saturday at Jasper Place.
The No. 3-ranked 4A Skyhawks, winners of the last four 3A provincial titles, are 25-3 overall after defeating the Rams 84-43 Wednesday.
Tuesday the Skyhawks men’s team visit the Eastglen Blue Devils (6-2 in pool A) in the division two quarter-finals at 5 p.m.
Last week the Skyhawks (6-2 in pool B), a 3A honourable mention, won their crossover playoff 81-69 over the Leduc Tigers (4-4 in pool A).
The semifinals are Thursday and the final is 8 p.m. Friday at Jasper Place.

Monday the Paul Kane Blues entertain the Bev Facey Falcons in the metro Edmonton division one quarter-finals in high school women’s basketball.
Tip-off is 5 p.m. between the third-place Blues (10-2), ranked No. 8 in 4A, and sixth-place Facey (7-5).
A win would set the stage for Wednesday’s semifinal tilt against the rival St. Albert Skyhawks or the St. Francis Xavier Rams.
The Blues have won eight in a row in league and tournament action and are 22-8 overall.
The Paul Kane men face an uphill battle in Monday’s division one quarter-finals against the host Harry Ainlay Titans at 5 p.m.
Paul Kane (6-7) finished eighth and the No. 2-ranked 4A Titans (12-1) placed first.
