The Slash (13-0, 46 GF/15 GA) and Pandas (5-10, 27 GF/42 GA) are first and sixth, respectively, in the six-team league.

Previous scores between the teams were a pair of 4-1 Slash wins last month.

Meanwhile, the Slash attended their second Two Nations College Prep Series tournament of the season and won four games before losing a 3-2 overtime decision to the California Wave last weekend in Brampton, Ont.

The Slash posted victories of 4-0 over the Burlington Barracudas, 3-1 over the Barrie Sharks, 5-1 over the Sudbury Wolves and 4-0 over the Brantford Ice Cats.

The first Two Nations tournament was in Detroit in late October and the Slash finished 5-0 after defeating the Milwaukee Admirals 8-0, Team Illinois 6-0, Dallas Stars Elite 4-0, Chicago Young Americans 2-0 and Chatham Outlaws 6-1.

The midget elite St. Albert Sharks of the Alberta Female Hockey League skate twice in a three-day span at Go Auto Arena.

Tonight the Sharks (6-7) and Edmonton Pandas (4-3) face-off at 7:45 p.m. and Monday’s game is 8:30 p.m. against the Sherwood Park Fury (7-2-1).

The Sharks, ranked third in the north division, are winless in their last four games.

Last weekend on the road, the Sharks lost 4-0 to Calgary Fire Red (8-3) and 2-1 to the Airdrie Lightning (7-5).

St. Albert’s midget AA teams skate into action tonight as division leaders in the Northern Alberta Hockey League.

The Blues (12-3) play SSAC Don Wheaton (6-9-3) at 5:15 p.m. at Confederation Arena and the Source for Sports Crusaders (11-5-1) host the Strathcona Warriors (10-4-3) at 8:30 p.m. at Mark Messier Arena.

In the Metro conference, the Blues are first in the Anderson hockey division and the Crusaders are the top team in the DESA hockey division.

The Blues are winners of five of their last six games and the Crusaders are 3-3 in their last six contests.

The Blues are led by Zach Carlson’s 13 goals and 27 points in 15 games and Kiegan Miller is the top scorer for the Crusaders with 14 goals and 25 points in 16 games.
