The midget 15 Flyers (13-0) host the Leduc Oil Kings (9-5) today at 4:15 p.m. and the Lloydminster Rage (1-12-1) Sunday at 3:45 p.m.

The north division leaders are averaging 5.4 goals for and only .84 goals against.

Evan Fradette (6-0, 0.83 GAA) and Ryley Osland (7-0, 0.86 GAA) are first and second, respectively, in the AMMHL in goals-against average. They also share the league lead in shutouts with three apiece.

Leading the way offensively is Blake Sydlowski with a team-high 14 goals and is tied for second place in AMMHL scoring with 29 points.

Stuart Dovey is second on the Flyers in scoring with 12 goals and 20 points.

Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. the Flyers and the St. Albert Warriors play their annual floor hockey game at Sir George Simpson School.

The Special Olympics’ floor hockey team will attend the Dec. 6 game between the Flyers and Maple Leafs (1-11-2) as the guests of honour. The ceremonial puck drop is 8:15 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.

The St. Albert Tire Warehouse Raiders resume league play this weekend in midget AAA hockey.

The Raiders (5-10-1) visit the Lloydminster Bobcats (4-10-1) today at 4:15 p.m. and Sunday’s game against the KC Pats (4-10-1) starts at 1:15 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.

The Raiders are 2-4 in their last six games and in the tight north standings are tied for sixth and two points out of second spot.

Garrett Clegg leads the team in scoring with nine goals and 17 points, followed by Peter Michailides with eight goals and 15 points.

The 31st annual Wood Tournament continues today for the St. Albert Mission tween, junior and belle ringette teams at Terwillegar Community Rec Centre.

The U14AA tweens skate at 11:30 a.m. against Calgary Blue and 7:15 p.m. against Calgary Red.

The U16AA juniors are in action at 1 p.m. against Zone 2 and 5:45 p.m. against the Regina Stingers.

The U19AA belles play at 8:45 a.m. against Calgary.

The playoffs start at 4:15 p.m. today for the belles and 7 a.m. Sunday for the tweens and juniors.

The tournament features 10 teams in the tween and junior draws and eight belle teams.
