The first win since Nov. 1 for the last-place Raiders (3-15-2) in the north division was Sunday’s 4-0 decision against the KC Pats (3-13-4) in St. Albert.

Thomas Davis (1-7-2, 3.76 GAA) posted the shutout with 30 saves and Caden Benson, Leif Mattson, Aidan Steinke and Kaidan McDonald scored on the power play.

The Raiders were 0-7-2 in nine games before recording their second win at home.

Colin Schmidt leads the team in scoring with 12 goals and 19 points, followed by Mattson with eight goals and 16 points, Ryan Cooper with 14 points and Cam Lockard with nine goals and 13 points.

The St. Albert Slash and the PAC Saints tangle twice this weekend in the Alberta Major Midget Female Hockey League.

Tonight they play at 8:30 p.m. at Stu Barnes Arena in Spruce Grove and Sunday’s game starts at 1:30 p.m. at Go Auto Arena.

Eight points separate the third-place Saints (9-2-4) and seventh-place Slash (5-8-4) in the standings.

Danielle Cox is the top scorer with nine in 15 games and is tied with Kyrelle Skoye in goals with six apiece.

The Bellerose Bulldogs and St. Albert Skyhawks hoop it up at home Monday in metro Edmonton division one basketball.

Tip-off times are 5 p.m. between the lady Skyhawks and Jasper Place Rebels and the Bellerose men against the McNally Tigers.

Wednesday the Paul Kane Blues host the Harry Ainlay Titans at 5 p.m. for the men and 6:30 p.m. for the women.
