The Gish Warriors host the Vincent J. Maloney Marauders and the Morinville Wolves visit the Simpson Voyageurs.

Game times are 4 p.m. for the girls and 5:30 p.m. for the boys.

Meanwhile, the Lorne Akins Gators are competing in the Titans Tri-Prov tournament at Harry Ainlay High School. The boys play Avalon at 4:45 p.m. Thursday and the girls, last year’s champions, are in action Friday against Rundle College at 4:45 p.m.

The Gators are the defending SAPEC Tier I city boys division and girls division champions.

The St. Albert Lady Raiders continue their six-game homestand this week in the Alberta Major Bantam Female Hockey League.

Tonight the Raiders host the defending champion Edmonton Lightning at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday’s game against the Sherwood Park Royals starts at 8:15 p.m. at Go Auto Arena.

The Lightning (15-2-2), Royals (11-5-3) and Raiders (10-5-4) are the top three teams in the north division.

The Raiders kicked off the homestand in Saturday’s 5-2 win over the Southeast Tigers (4-16), the last-place team in the south.

Kylie Foisy, Payden Bialowas, Kendra Johnson, Aidan Soltis and Elleson Rezewski scored and Natasha Borrett (5-5, 1.71 GAA) stopped 21 shots.

The Paul Kane Blues play a rescheduled game Thursday against the St. Francis Xavier Rams in metro Edmonton division one men’s basketball.

Tipoff is 5 p.m. at SFX High School.

The Rams are 3-2 and the Blues are 1-5.

The North Central Senior AA Hockey League playoff series between the Morinville Kings and Tofield Satellites resumes Saturday at Ray McDonald Sports Centre.

Puck drop is 8:30 p.m.

Game three in the best-of-five north division semifinal is 7 p.m. Sunday in Tofield.

If needed, game four is Feb. 6 at 8:30 p.m. in Morinville and game five is Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m. in Tofield.

The Satellites won the series opener 7-1 last weekend on home ice.

The Satellites (11-4-1) and Kings (8-7-1) finished second and third, respectively, in the north standings.

The teams split the season series with road wins

The winner plays the first-place Bonnyville Pontiacs (15-1) or fourth-place Whitecourt Wild (7-9) in the best-of-five north final.
