Both the St. Albert AAA Tigers and AAA Midget Cardinals continue their push for tournament glory this weekend at Legion Memorial Diamonds.

The Tigers have games scheduled today at 11:30 a.m. and 8 p.m., and on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Cardinals’ games are set for 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Fans can see both teams in action at the same time when they go head-to-head at 2 p.m. Sunday, just before the final at 5 p.m.

The St. Albert Miners Senior B lacrosse team will host the Sherwood Park Outlaws Sunday for the last game of the regular season in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.

After winning the league championships last year and bringing home a respectable bronze medal in the 2014 Presidents’ Cup national tournament, the Miners will look to enter the post-season with a bang.

In their previous four regular-season matchups, the Miners bested the Outlaws every time. Expect the same at 3 p.m. Sunday for the faceoff.

The St. Albert Junior B Crude will finish out their regular season with a pair of games this weekend.

They will host the Sherwood Park Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Akinsdale Arena before facing the Edmonton Warriors at Bill Hunter Arena on Sunday at 5 p.m.

Despite some struggles this season, the Crude have clinched a playoff spot and are in the running for the league title.

The St. Albert Impact Rangers will host their Division 1A opponents Africana FC in at the Riel fields on Monday for a regular-season game in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.

The Rangers are sitting comfortably in third place this season, and beat the fifth-place Africana 3-1 when the two clubs last met on May 25.

The Division 3A Impact Rangers women will also play on Monday at Riel, hosting the ASC Selects.

The men play at 6:30 p.m., while the women play at 8:15 p.m.

In women’s soccer action, the Impact Premier Women will look for a win against the visiting Xavier Academy Tuesday evening at Riel Park.

The fifth-place Xavier Academy squeaked by the seventh-place Impact 3-2 when the two teams met in May at Foote Field in Edmonton, so the St. Albert women will be looking to give then a little comeuppance.

The game will start at 6:30 p.m.
