The Impact women have scored only seven goals in nine matches but are the best defensive team with four against.

Tonight marks the second-last game for the junior A St. Albert Miners before the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League playoffs.

Ball drop is 8 p.m. against the Sherwood Park Titans at Go Auto Arena.

The Miners (6-10) are 5-0 against the last-place Titans (1-13) after Friday's 15-6 win in Sherwood Park.

The next day the Miners lost 10-8 to the Calgary Mountaineers (13-2-1) in St. Albert. The team's record is 1-5 against the provincial champions.

The RMLL schedule ends Saturday for the Miners against the Calgary Raiders (10-4-1) at 12:30 p.m. at Max Bell Arena.

Nik Farrus shares top spot in the RMLL scoring race with 64 points after 15 games and is second in goals with 28.

Friday the third division men at the St. Albert Rugby Football Club visit the Leduc Crude.

Kickoff is 7 p.m. between SARFC (4-3) and Leduc (0-5).

SARFC is stuck in a four-team logjam at the top of the ERU table after last weekend's 33-3 loss to the Grande Prairie Centaurs (4-3) at Ellerslie Rugby Park.

SARFC has one more bonus point than the Centaurs.

Saturday's match between the defending provincial second division women's champion and the Lep/Tigers kicks off at 2 p.m. at the St. Albert Rugby Football Club.

SARFC (5-2) ranks third with one more bonus point than the fourth-place Lep/Tigers (5-1) in the Edmonton Rugby Union second division spring league.

SARFC's last match in the round-robin fixtures is July 4 against the sixth-place Sirens (3-4) at 2:15 p.m. in Grande Prairie.

The top four finishers in the spring league start the second half of the season in the first division and the rest of the teams play for second division honours.

Last year SARFC finished 11-4 overall in the ERU spring league and division two fixtures while winning its first provincial women's title since 2009 and the fifth in club history.
