The online registration deadline for the 11th annual St. Albert Fall Challenge is tonight at 11:55 p.m.
Race distances on the Red Willow trail system are the 21.1-kilometre half-marathon run/walk (two laps on the trail), 10-km run/walk (one lap) and five-km run/walk.
Start times at Kingswood Park are 8 a.m. for the half-marathon walk and 9 a.m. for the half-marathon run, 10-km run/walk and five-km run/walk.
The 0.5-km kids’ loop begins at 11:30 a.m. and no pre-registration is required

Last year there were 354 finishers in the half-marathon run/walk, 10-km run/walk and five-km run/walk.
Mark Faas of Hanna repeated as the half-marathon winner in one hour, 21 minutes and 57 seconds.
Daniel Brewster of Edmonton was the runner-up for the second-straight year and his time was 1:22:27.
The top female for the third year in a row was Wietske Eikelenboom of St. Albert at 1:31:26 for 11th place overall out of 173 runners.
Tonight in exhibition action the St. Albert Raiders face-off against the Sherwood Park Kings in the Alberta Midget AAA Hockey League.
Puck drop is 7:45 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.
The last exhibition game for the Raiders is 1:15 p.m. Sunday against the Southside Athletic Club at Akinsdale.
The Raiders are 3-1 in pre-season play.
The AMHL regular season starts Sept. 28, when the Raiders play the Leduc Oil Kings at 1:15 p.m. at Akinsdale.
Thursday the St. Albert Sabres make their season debut in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League against the Sherwood Park Flyers.
Game time is 8:30 p.m. at Sherwood Park.
Sunday’s home opener against the Maple Leafs starts at 3:45 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.
In the pre-season the Sabres finished 2-4.
Friday the St. Albert Merchants host the Morinville Jets in the Capital Junior B Hockey League season opener.
Faceoff is 8 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.
The Merchants finished 4-1 in exhibition play after Sunday’s 4-0 loss to the Fort Saskatchewan Hawks in St. Albert.
Sunday the Merchants visit the Beverly Warriors at 8 p.m. at Londonderry Arena and the Jets entertain the Wetaskiwin Icemen at 6:45 p.m. at the Ray McDonald Sports Centre.
