After that, SARFC has a doubleheader scheduled as the men’s second and third division teams take on the Strathcona Druids on Thursday, July 28, with both games scheduled for 7 p.m. The seconds are also riding a four-match winning streak, the last two also coming over the Centaurs.

A pair of St. Albert players will be representing Alberta in a prestigious volleyball tournament this weekend in Winnipeg.
The National Team Challenge Cup is being held July 19 to 24 at the University of Manitoba, and Tyra Adamic of Paul Kane High School and Madison Porisky of Bellerose Composite High School both left Monday night to compete for their province.
Although they attended rival high schools, Adamic and Porisky played together on the Northern Alberta Volleyball Club and will both be attending Grant MacEwan University in the fall to play on the Griffins women’s team.
Team Alberta coach Jocelyn Blair also hails from St. Albert, and coached Porisky at Bellerose this past year.
