Today and tomorrow, come cheer on the St. Albert Cardinals at Legion Memorial Park as the hosts for the annual Rainmaker Tournament.
The first officially sanctioned tournament of the year for the North Central Alberta Baseball League, the Rainmaker has become a staple for baseball fans gearing up for the summer season.

The playoff matches will begin Sunday afternoon following the round robin, with the third- and fourth-place teams facing off for the bronze at 12:30 and the first- and second-place teams playing for all the marbles at 3 p.m.
The St. Albert Miners Junior A will play host to the Calgary Raiders tonight and the Calgary Mountaineers tomorrow in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.

Tonight’s game against the Raiders starts at 5:30 p.m., and tomorrow’s game starts at 1:30 p.m. Both matches will be played at Servus Place.
The St. Albert Miners Senior B will also see some action on their home floor as they face the Calgary Raiders at Servus Place.
They’re coming off a mid-week game last Wednesday against the South Edmonton Warriors, but the results of that match weren’t available by press time. Prior to Wednesday, they had a 2-1 record.
Tonight’s action starts at 8 p.m. at Servus Place.
The St. Albert Impact Rangers will hit the road over the next couple of days with games scheduled for this afternoon and Monday evening as they jockey for position in the Edmonton District Soccer Association’s Men’s Division 1A.
After facing the Emerald Exports tonight at 4 p.m. on field No. 3 at the Edmonton Soccer Association facility in northwest Edmonton, they will make another trip across Anthony Henday Drive Monday to face Africana FC on field No. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
