The home fixtures are also being finalized for the St. Albert Soccer Association’s Tier 1 and 2 teams.

Impact Rangers

Monday at 7 p.m. the Impact Rangers host the Rising Stars (0-0-1) in men’s division 1A.

Last weekend the Rangers rallied from a 2-1 halftime deficit to defeat Ajax SC 4-2 at the ESA Complex.

Marc Tetreau (penalty kick), David Letourneau, Walie Aktary and Oscar Sanchez scored and Daniel Loconte was in net.

Mark McQuaid, a former Impact player, tallied twice for Ajax.

Last year the Rangers tied for fourth at 6-5-3 with 21 points and Mike Thompson shared the league lead in goals with eight.

Impact women

Tuesday’s match between the Impact premier women and North West United (1-0) starts at 7 p.m.

The Impact are coming off a 4-3 decision against the Ital/Inter/Wolves last weekend at the ESA Complex.

Stephanie Matheson (curled a corner kick into the far corner), Jessica Rankine, Mikaela Donnelly and Brittany Boe scored in the second half after the Impact trailed 3-0 at halftime. In net was Tianna Groeneveld, a youth trialist.

The Impact had only one sub due to injury, college commitments and vacation.

Last year the Impact finished third at 13-4-1 with 40 points and Boe’s 14 goals ranked second in league scoring.

Division 1B

The men’s and women’s division 1B Impact teams are in action Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Impact 2 men line up against E & C United and the Impact 2 women hook up with Hearts United.

The Impact men kick off their season at 2 p.m. Sunday against Red Hill FC at Confederation Park and the Impact women played their first game Wednesday against the Warriors but the score was unavailable at press time.

Last year the Impact men placed third at 8-2-4 with 28 points and the Impact women were seventh in division 2B at 4-9-1 with 13 points.

Premier men

Thursday the FC Edmonton Academy team, listed as St. Albert Impact in the premier men’s division, play AC Milan at 7 p.m.

The season lid-lifter for last year’s pennant winners at 13-1-4 with 43 points and provincial gold medallists is 6:30 p.m. Monday against Juventus at the ESA South Complex.
