Daily admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Children 10 and under get in free. There is no charge for Raiders Hockey Club and St. Albert Minor Hockey Association players wearing their team jackets.

Tonight the St. Albert Slash host the Red Deer Chiefs in the Alberta Major Midget Female Hockey League.

Faceoff is 6:15 p.m. at Troy Murray Arena.

The Slash (12-11-3) are third in the north and Red Deer (5-14-7) shares last place in the south.

Sunday the St. Albert Merchants play the Beaumont Chiefs in the Capital Junior B Hockey League.

Puck drop is 8 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.

The Merchants (16-10-4) ranks fourth in the west division and Beaumont (12-16-1) is fifth in the east standings.

The Merchants are 1-2-1 in January after going 3-2-1 in December.

Tuesday the Merchants visit the Sherwood Park Knights (21-7-1) at 8:30 p.m.

Week two in the SAPEC junior high basketball league regular season tips off Tuesday.

The Vincent J. Maloney Marauders visit the Lorne Akins Gators and the ESSMY Leopards hoop it up at the William D. Cuts Crusaders.

Wednesday the Morinville Wolves host the Elmer S. Gish Warriors and the Sir George Simpson Voyageurs entertain the Richard S. Fowler Falcons.

Game times are 4 p.m. for the girls and 5:30 for the boys.

The lady Marauders and the Fowler boys are the defending city champions.

Last weekend the Marauders swept the girls’ and boys’ finals at the 10th annual Boston Pizza SAPEC invitational tournament.

Entries are being accepted for the 28th annual St. Albert 10-Mile Road Race and third annual Leading Edge RunWild Marathon.
