The St. Albert Cardinals are at home again tonight in a rematch of Monday’s game against SEEBA 2 in the Norwest Midget AAA Baseball League. Game time is 7 p.m. at Legion Memorial Park.

The seventh-place Cardinals (8-11) were winless in four games, with three of those losses against SEEBA 1 (5-6).
SEEBA 2 (2-14) was last in the 11-team standings.
Last weekend the Cardinals beat the East Park Orioles of Edmonton 6-2 in an exhibition in St. Albert. Mike Mose sparked the offence with one triple, two RBIs and two stolen bases.
Tonight at 7 p.m. the bantam AAA St. Albert Cardinals host SEEBA at Legion Memorial Park.
Recently the Cardinals edged SEEBA 5-2 in a game that took five hours to complete because of two rain delays at Rundle Park.
In the bottom of the seventh, Matt Quartel reached base on an error to open the inning and scored the winning run on Cam Mazur’s base hit.
Erik Sabrowski struck-out eight over five innings and Jackson Wark earned the win in relief in the seventh.
Last week Wark fanned 11 batters in a two-hit, complete-game 10-0 victory over the Spruce Grove White Sox.
The Cardinals are 4-2 in round two in the Baseball Alberta performance division after going 6-0 in the opening round.
The team’s last game was Wednesday’s 9-6 decision against the host Sherwood Park Gold.
Jakob Brinkhof pitched four shutout innings to record the win and Tanner McLean-Poll stroked a pair of doubles.
The St. Albert Miners and Edmonton Eclipse clash tonight for the third time this year in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
Game time is 8:30 p.m. at Bill Hunter Arena.
The second win by the Miners (3-5) in the season series against the Eclipse (2-6-1) was 12-8 in St. Albert last week.
The last junior A game for the Miners was Saturday’s 19-8 loss to the first-place Raiders (7-2) in Okotoks.
The Raiders outscored the Miners 7-1 in the second period to lead 15-7.
Richard Thompson Miners of the Miners scored three goals and the Raiders fired 57 shots at netminder Scott Kavalinas.
The St. Albert Impact premier men’s teams kick the ball Thursday at Riel Park in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.
Impact 1 (3-3-1) plays the winless Ital-Canadians at 6:30 p.m. and the Impact Rangers (1-4-1) battle the KC Trojans (3-3) at 8:15 p.m.
Monday at 7 p.m. the Impact teams square-off at Riel Park. In the season opener Impact 1 defeated the Rangers 5-1.
