Sophie Lalor sniped both OT winners while racking up five goals in the best-of-three playoff.

Alexis Bruce backstopped the Raiders to the series victory by stopping 55 of 59 shots in 149 minutes played.

Friday the St. Albert Royals battle the SSAC Dolce Vita Homes in game two in the best-of-five Rural & Edmonton Midget 15 AA Hockey League final.

Puck drop is 7:45 p.m. at Confederation Arena.

Game three is 6:45 p.m. Monday at Akinsdale Arena.

If needed, game four is March 17 at 8:45 p.m. at Confederation and game five is March 19 at 7 p.m. at Akinsdale.

Game one was played Tuesday in St. Albert but the score was unavailable at press time.

The Royals (23-4-3) and SSAC (21-8-1) finished first and third, respectively in the standings while splitting their four-game season series.

Both teams were 5-0 in the playoffs after sweeping two series apiece.

Justin Roy is the Royals' top point producer in the playoffs with eight and shares the team lead in goals with Jett Bland with four apiece.

Parker Waseylenko (2-0, 1.00 GAA) and Mike Knoblauch (3-0, 1.33 GAA) had recorded one shutout apiece in the playoffs.

The St. Albert Ringette Association hosts the tween U14B provincials next weekend.

The 28-game tournament draw consists of the South Calgary Lightning, Fort Saskatchewan Ice Squad and a north round two team in pool A, Lethbridge Force, Drayton Valley Lightning and a St. Albert team in pool B, Spruce Grove Talons, Strathmore Ice Rebels and Cochrane Rockies in pool C and Sherwood Park Riot, Calgary Northwest BADDitude and Calgary Northwest Adrenaline in pool D.
