The 29th victory in a row for the senior B St. Albert Miners was Sunday's 14-8 decision against the Rockyview Knights at Go Auto Arena.
The Miners led 9-7 with 9:34 to play when Matt Andruchow fired the first of five consecutive goals by the home team to seal the deal.
Cameron Sedgwick's second of the game, a pair by Keegan Bal for five in total and Travis Poseluzny also tallied during the six-minute, 11-second scoring spree.
Richard Lachlan, Ryan Davis, Tyler Douglas, Graedon Cornfield and Darren Kinnear also scored for the Miners (4-0).
The Knights (4-2) are the last team to record a point against the Miners and the 7-7 tie was the 2016 opening game in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
The Miners also defeated the Calgary Mountaineers 8-5 last weekend in St. Albert.
Bal's three goals and two assists led the attack. Sedgwick pumped in a pair and Kinnear, Cornfield and Andruchow netted singles and goaltender Dave Marrese had two assists.
Last year the Miners swept the best-of-three RMLL provincial final against the Mountaineers.
The Presidents' Cup national champions wrap up their five-game homestand May 27 against the Mountaineers (1-2) at 8 p.m.
The next junior B Tier I game for the Crude Lacrosse Club of St. Albert is Thursday against the Edmonton Warriors

Last weekend the suspension-riddled Crude (1-4) went down to defeat 12-11 in overtime to the Manitoba Blizzard (5-2) of Winnipeg and 13-5 to the Calgary Chill (2-2) at Akinsdale Arena.
The last three goals by the Blizzard were scored on the power play, including the tying marker with 1:54 left in regulation time.
Carter McCorriston, Tyler Dion and Ben Holowaty recorded five points apiece. McCorriston posted the hat-trick and Dion and Holowaty potted a pair each.
Liam Potgieter also tallied twice, Dustin Herman and Brock McIntyre notched singles and goaltender Garyn Schmermund assisted on two goals.
The Crude capitalized five times on the power play against the Chill. Holowaty and McCorriston struck twice and Dion also capitalized with the man advantage.
Brock McIntyre picked up four assists and Holowaty added three helpers.
Period scores were 3-1 and 9-3.
The first-place St. Albert Midget A Zone Rams have a break in the schedule before resuming league play Tuesday in the Greater Edmonton Lacrosse Council.
The Rams (4-2-1, 39 GF/40 GA) and Edmonton Warriors (2-4, 32 GF/42 GA) clash at 8:30 p.m. at Kinex Arena.
The Rams, winners of three in a row, are 2-0 against the Warriors this season.
The St. Albert Miners are searching for their first win of the season Friday when the junior A team hosts the Calgary Raiders in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
Start time is 8 p.m. at Go Auto Arena.
The Raiders are 2-0 and the team's first win was 15-5 against the Miners in the May 5 season opener in Calgary.
The Miners are 0-4 after losses of 15-4 and 15-2 to the Saskatchewan SWAT in Saskatoon.
The SWAT (4-0) also beat the Miners 14-4 May 7 in St. Albert.
The junior lady St. Albert Drillers are back on the floor tonight in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
Ball drop is 9 p.m. against the Capital Region Saints (5-2) at Akinsdale Arena.
The Drillers are winless in four games, with five goals scored and 53 against.
Last weekend the Drillers lost 8-1 to the Axemen-Snipers (2-2-1) in Calgary and 15-1 to the Raiders (3-2) in Okotoks.
