Senior B Miners
The host team for the Presidents' Cup national championship extended its winning streak to 10 games Monday.
The St. Albert Miners downed the Beaumont Outlaws 15-6 at Go Auto Arena while raising their senior B record to 10-0-1 in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
The Outlaws fall to 2-8 for fifth place in the six-team standings.

The Miners have five games remaining before the playoffs and the next contest is Monday versus the Edmonton Warriors (5-5-1) at 8 p.m. in St. Albert.
According to the league's recent scoring stats, Keegan Bal is the top scorer with 52 points in eight games and is second in goals with 20 behind teammate Richard Lachlin's 24 in nine games. Both players were brought on board for nationals, Aug. 29 to Sept. 4 at Leduc Recreation Centre.
Captain Jordan Cornfield is among the league leaders with 18 goals and 41 points in nine games.
Erik Turner, a product of the junior B Tier I St. Albert Crude, is second in league scoring with 45 points in nine games with the Warriors.
Junior A Miners
Friday the junior A St. Albert Miners are in Sherwood Park to play the Titans for the fourth time in 17 days in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
Start time is 8:30 p.m. at Sherwood Park Arena.
The third contest in a row between the teams was played Tuesday in St. Albert but the score was unavailable at press time.
The Miners (4-8), ranked fourth in the five-team division, were coming off wins of 15-11 in St. Albert and 16-8 in Sherwood Park against the Titans (0-12).
The Miners had lost eight in a row before the stretch of games with the Titans.
In league scoring, Nik Farrus ranks third in points with 66 and fourth in goals with 30 in 12 games.
Mathew DeGirolamo is second in team scoring with 37 points and Dawson Reykdal is one point back as the second-highest goal producer on the Miners with 22.
Sunday the Miners visit the second-place Calgary Raiders (9-1-1) at 1 p.m. at Max Bell Arena.
After the trip to Calgary, the Miners have five games remaining before the playoffs.
Crude at home
The third-last home game for the St. Albert Crude before the junior B Tier I playoffs is Saturday against the Fort Saskatchewan Rebels in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
Ball drop is 9 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.
The Rebels are 6-8 and the Crude were 3-10 before Tuesday's tilt against the Titans (11-3) in Sherwood Park. The score was unavailable at press time.
The seventh loss in a row for the fifth-place Crude in the north division was Saturday's 13-8 result against the Calgary Chill (12-1) in St. Albert.
Captain Brody Tod's hat-trick and two goals and two assists by Keagan Doll paced the attack against one of the top teams in the south.
The latest league scoring stats list Ben Holowaty tied for third in points with 31 in 10 games, one more than Jesse Ott.
Ott and Holowaty also ranked first and second on the Crude in goals with 15 and 14, respectively.
Doll was third on team in points with 20 in six games.
