Game times are 5 p.m. for the Bulldogs (10-0) against the Louis St. Laurent Barons (3-7) in division three women and 6:30 p.m. for the division two men against Oscar Romero Ravens (5-6).

The St. Albert Soccer Association kicks off its Active Start Soccer Fest season wind-up today at Servus Credit Union Place.

The indoor soccer event for the U4, U5, U6 and U8 teams consists of 25-minute games from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Sunday’s session is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the U10 and U12 mini games organized by staff coaches.

REM 15 Royals

The round-robin playoff series for St. Albert Royals in the blue pool continues tonight in the Rural & Edmonton Midget 15AA Hockey League.

Faceoff is 7:30 p.m. against SSAC APD (6-21) at Akinsdale Arena.

Thursday the third-place Royals (18-7-2) travelled to Red Deer to play the second-place Chiefs (18-5-4) but the score was unavailable at press time.

The Royals also host CAC Volvo (11-15-1) Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. at the Akinsdale rink and the SPKAC Senators (15-11-1) March 4 at 12:15 p.m. at Mark Messier Arena.

Top two teams in blue pool advance to best-of-five semifinals.

Midget AA games

Four games remain for the Blues and Source for Sports Crusaders before the divisional playoff tournaments start in the Northern Alberta Midget AA Hockey League.

The Crusaders (18-8-2) are 3-3 in the last six games when the 2017 NAMHL finalists face-off against the Wainwright Polar Kings (13-8-7) today at 4:15 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.

Monday the Blues (15-6-6) play the PAC Saints (24-1-3), the No. 1 team in the NAMHL, at 8:30 p.m. at Go Auto Arena and Crusaders visit the Maple Leafs (11-16-2) at 8:15 p.m. at Millwoods Arena.

The Blues were undefeated in eight games at 5-0-3 before Thursday’s contest against the CAC (18-5-5). The score was unavailable at press time.

The Blues are ranked third in the Anderson division and the Crusaders are second behind the Saints in the Besa division.

League play ends March 4 and the Anderson and Besa divisional playoff tournaments are expected to begin March 6. The division winners advance to the best-of-three Metro conference series.

Bellerose hoops

The Bellerose Bulldogs host Monday’s playoff doubleheader in metro Edmonton high school basketball.

Tip-off times are 5 p.m. against the Louis St. Laurent Barons (3-7) in division three women and 6:30 p.m. for the division two men against the Oscar Romero Ravens (5-6).

The Bellerose men tied for third at 7-4 and the lady Bulldogs finished 10-0.

Monday's winners advance to Wednesday’s semifinals and the finals are 8 p.m. Friday for division two men and 4 p.m. Saturday for division three women at Jasper Place.
