A pair of Paul Kane Blues made the Team Alberta cut for the U18 Football Canada Cup.
Zach Dreger, an offensive lineman and long snapper, and receiver Tanner Buchanan were named to the 40-man roster for the July 12 to 20 tournament in Montreal.
Last weekend’s main selection camp at McMahon Stadium featured 140 players born in 1998 or 1999 who attended last month’s north and south tryout camps.

Defensive back Shaydon Philip of the Paul Kane Blues and linebacker Rory O’Donovan of the St. Albert High Skyhawks will compete in the all-star showcase for graduating Grade 12 players.
Game time is noon at McMahon Stadium.
Rob Strecker, head coach of the Miles division two champions the last two years at Paul Kane in the metro Edmonton league, is also part of the north coaching staff.
Three players are representing the St. Albert Fury at the Football Alberta Bantam Bowl on Monday at noon in Lethbridge.
The 40-man north team roster includes receiver Jesse Stuht, offensive lineman Jacob Parent and defensive lineman Colten Samuelson from the undefeated 2014 Capital District Minor Football Association bantam Tier 3 champions.
The Bantam Bowl features the top graduating Grade 9 bantams in the province.
Game time is 6 p.m. at Johnny Bright Park.
The Bulldogs have also scheduled their fourth annual Dawg Bowl for May 28 at 6 p.m. at Riel Recreation Park. The Team Hill versus Team Guy intersquad game will bring together Bulldogs from the junior and senior teams.
