Dynamyx is 25
Today’s 25th anniversary celebration for the Dynamyx Gymnastics Club starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Campbell Business Park facility.The event includes a historical background of the club, a cheque presentation to KidSport St. Albert in memory of Kim Calder-Vig, one of the seven founding members, and the unveiling of a plaque honouring all the founding members, plus cake and refreshments.

Midget 15 Flyers
The St. Albert Flyers host the SSAC Bulldogs tonight in the Alberta Minor Midget AAA Hockey League.
Faceoff is 8 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena and the Flyers are 7-1 on home ice.
The Flyers and Leduc Oil Kings are the north division co-leaders with identical 12-2-2 records and SSAC (5-5-2) is ranked seventh.
Monday’s 3-3 draw with CAC United Cycle (4-9-2) at Callingwood Arena ended a six-game winning streak for the Flyers.
Down 3-0 after the first period, the Flyers rallied on goals by David Saunders in the second and Breck McKinley and Ethan Sundar on the power play in the third. Dylan Leslie added two assists.
Shots were 42-27 for the Flyers in support of netminder Carson Ironside (6-0-2, 2.34 GAA).
Sundar is the AMMHL’s top scorer with 33 points in 15 games and is second in goals with 17 with a league-best seven on the power play.
Midget AA games
The top two teams in the Besa division of the Northern Alberta Midget AA Hockey League face off today in Morinville.
Puck drop is 5:45 p.m. between the St. Albert Source for Sports Crusaders (11-2-2) and Sturgeon Sting (9-2-2).
Sunday the Crusaders host the Whitecourt Wolverines (5-7-2) at 5 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.
The 2018 league champions closed out their November schedule with three straight wins while going 7-1-1.
Meanwhile, the St. Albert Blues travel for games against the Wolverines (5-7-2) today at 3:15 p.m. and GPAC Storm (2-9-2) Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in Clairmont.
The Blues (4-4-3), seventh in the Besa standings, were 1-0-2 in November.
REM 15AA Royals
The first-place St. Albert Royals skate twice this weekend in the Rural & Edmonton Midget 15AA Hockey League.Tonight the Royals (11-2) play the Red Deer Chiefs (7-6-1) at 8:30 p.m. at Mark Messier Arena and Sunday’s game time against the PAC Saints (2-10-2) is 4:30 p.m. at Tri Leisure Centre.
The Royals wrapped up their November schedule with six wins in seven games.
