Under 10 Girls Tier I
The St. Albert Impact girls (MacIntosh) took first place after a tiebreaker. Games in this division were lopsided, with St. Albert beating SWU (Farrell) 19 to 0 on May 18. Both the Impact and SWU (Duxbury) ended up with six points in round robin, but the Impact had more goals for.
Under 10 Boys Tier I
This tier had only three teams, with no St. Albert team registered. Of the two Edmonton teams registered and one Spruce Grove team, Spruce Grove took the gold medal May 19 with 10 goals for, two against.
Under 10 Boys Tier II
A competitive tier, this grouping had four teams registered, including St. Albert 2004 (Munguia). St. Albert dropped their first game 6-0 to Spruce Grove, but tied their second game 1-1 with Calgary. Fort McMurray ended up on top, nine goals for and three against.
Under 12 Girls Tier I
A popular tier, this group was broken into A and B pools.
In the A pool, two St. Albert teams battled for supremacy, Impact (Pietramala) and Impact (Odinga). Impact (P) finished with 7 points in the round robin, Impact (O) finished one point behind. Impact (P) won gold in the championship game over Calgary May 20.
In pool B, the St. Albert Impact (Jahns) didn’t fare as well. They dropped two games and finished the round robin with eight goals for, 14 goals against.
U14 Girls Tier I
Again, a popular tier that was broken up into two pools, A and B.
In pool A, the St. Albert Impact (Bourbonnais) tied their first game then won their second game in a shut-out against Edmonton. They played for the bronze medal May 19. They won it by beating the Red Deer Renegades 4 to zip.
No local teams were in pool B.
U14 Boys Tier I
Split into pools A and B, this tier featured one St. Albert team in the A pool: St. Albert (Houle). The team finished the round robin with one win and one tie, enough for a berth in the bronze medal game. St. Albert lost in the bronze medal game in a heartbreaking 2-1 game.
No local teams were in pool B.
U14 Girls Tier II
This tier was split into three pools, A, B and C. The B pool featured the St. Albert Impact (Herlein). The Impact were at the top of their game, beating Fort McMurray and Calgary each 3-0. They earned a spot in the playoff rounds and ultimately earned the silver medal, losing a close 1-0 decision to Inter U14 (Patterson).
U14 Boys Tier II
Broke into two pools, the St. Albert Impact (Delhez) played in Pool B. They opened with a 2-1 win over KC Trojans and followed that up with a 12-0 drubbing of the PGYSA Kodiaks. The Impact had a chance to play for the bronze medal, but lost out to Spruce Grove.
U16/18 Boys Tier I/II
In this five-team round robin, the St. Albert Impact (Rochat) opened with a tie and a loss. They followed that up with a 12 to zero win over Prince George but lost a close 2-1 decision in their next game with the second Prince George team. St. Albert walked away with the silver medal.
U18 Girls Tier II/III
With two pools in this division, the St. Albert Impact (Murphy) played brilliantly in pool A. They opened with a 10-0 win over Yukon, followed by a 7-1 win over Calgary. However, they lost a 3-2 decision to Calgary in the championship game but took home silver medals.
