Volunteer at St. Albert’s downtown outdoor market and assist with set up and take down, hand out vendor numbers and buttons, answer questions about vendors and products, work the lost and found, sell market bags and help with activities on special days. Market runs Saturdays, from June 13 to Sept. 26.
This agency provides support through compassion, education, and friendship to those who have lost a loved one through death, and is looking for a volunteer to become a board member and to help with computer work. Primary responsibilities will include updating brochures, website updates and other computer work as required. This virtual volunteer can do most of the work at home, hours flexible.

More than 1,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities from all over Alberta will converge on St. Albert for these games June 26 to 28, and many volunteers are needed to help make it a success. Choose from a wide variety of roles such as officials, judges, security, chauffeurs, marshals, medical, registrars, food services, and hosts and set up and take down at sites. Be a part of helping these athletes reach their goals and a part of the provincial games experience.
Help at this popular, family-focused kids’ triathlon with lots of multisport fun, Sunday, June 14 in St. Albert. Emphasis is on fun and safety. Volunteers work inside the pool counting lanes, outside directing traffic and in the transition area and water stations. Marshals help athletes find their way and boost the morale of the kids with cheering along the way.
This rewarding opportunity helps to provide sport and recreation, specifically soccer, for persons who are mentally challenged. Commitment involves a couple of hours once per week, July 6 to Aug. 31 on Monday evenings.
