Help this organization aid homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless at this one day, one location event on Sunday, May 15. You will help others provide a range of services to the individuals by volunteering in one of several roles such as greeter, helping with registration or being a guide. Be a part of this transformational day and make a difference in your own life while making a difference in someone else’s.

This organization provides support to those who have lost a loved one through providing compassion, understanding, education and friendship. Help to provide leadership to this organization by chairing or co-chairing the board.

Help at this popular, family-focused kids’ triathlon with lots of multisport fun, Sunday, June 12 in St. Albert. Emphasis is on fun and safety, where volunteers work inside the pool counting lanes, outside directing traffic and in the transition area and water stations. Marshals help athletes find their way and boost the kids’ morale by cheering along the way.

Volunteer at this annual bike ride for more than 1,000 riders who cycle across Alberta's beautiful countryside for up to 185 kilometres in one day in the Morinville area. Assist with pre-event work and/or event day assistance such as set-up, tear down, signage, parking, motorcycle support, rest stops and more. Event takes place July 24.

Be a part of this fun festival that inspires and ignites the imaginations of the young and young at heart. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, have fun at an event, and share a magical experience with more than 55,000 children and families. Help as an activity assistant with events, artist activities, face painting, information guides, or crafts with children. Volunteers also needed for transportation and as ushers in the performance venues. Festival runs May 31 to June 4 in St. Albert.

The streets of St. Albert are going to get wild during the RunWild Marathon on May 15. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available on race day, pre-race and in the days leading up to the race. It all happens for a good cause with funds raised going to the Zebra Child Protection Centre. So join in and contribute your part.

Are you friendly, fluent in English and have good communication skills? Help new Canadians and temporary foreign workers practice their English speaking skills in an informal setting with conversation. Program happens Saturday mornings.
